About Your Movement Guide

My name is Jenna and I am passionate about helping people understand their bodies and learn ways to move better and feel better. I have 20 years of combined experience as a dancer, Pilates and yoga teacher, and manual therapist.

I started as a yoga instructor in 2004. I then discovered Pilates while searching for ways to strengthen and rehabilitate my injuries from dance. I was also looking for ways to reduce pain and muscle tension from scoliosis. Wanting to help others achieve the same results, I became a certified Pilates instructor in 2012 through Polestar Pilates.

I enjoy helping people get back to doing what they love and what they never thought they'd do again!

Testimonials:

Lots of juicy ways to strengthen and tune into your body. This type of movement work is like physical therapy for me. I can tune into muscles that aren’t firing until they do and notice areas that work harder than they need to." -Kaytlyn E.

"I was initially resistant and doubted it would make that great of a difference. Over time it has been quite dramatic. I have been enjoying my body's increased strength, flexibility I have also been learning to listen more deeply to what it needs. Jenna has been great at helping me find adaptations to exercises that didn't feel good for my body. I have started to really appreciate how different exercises seem to work different parts of my brain." -Ivan S.
